Error: not enough storage quota left to index

Hello,

I received an error while indexing a Corpus with more documents.

“status”:{“code”:“INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE”,“statusDetail”:“Not enough storage quota left to index 2279 units.”,“cause”:null},“quotaConsumed”:{“numChars”:“0”,“numMetadataChars”:“0”}}

The Vectara Console doesn’t say anything about insufficient storage. Can you please assist us in fixing this?

Thanks,
Bhanu

Hey, thanks for raising this! I’m sorry you encountered this. I’m going to improve the UI to give you and other folks more visibility into storage limits and make it easier to upgrade your account.

In the meantime, you can increase your storage quota by adding a credit card:

  1. Navigate to the Billing history page.
  2. In the “Payment Method” card, click the “Add payment” button.
  3. Enter your credit card and save.

Once we have a credit card on file, we’ll incrementally increase your quota every time your usage exceeds it. Each increment, or “bundle”, costs $1.25 and includes:

  • Additional 1,000 queries
  • Additional 1,000 generative requests
  • Additional 5.0 MB data storage
  • Additional 50.0 MB data ingest capacity

Thanks for the response. Adding a card resolved it.

Awesome! Great to hear.
