When the user searches, I want to give them a link to the most relevant PDF page. So it would be great to be able to inform them of the specific page where that highlighted text is in the PDF.
The Chrome browser (I don’t know about others) already gives us the option to “jump directly” to a specific page of a PDF via link, just put something like this: example.com/book.pdf#page=5 and that would take you to page 5.
But to do this I need the functionality in Vectara that returns the page where the excerpt text came from.
Of course, this functionality has other applications, I’m just mentioning my use case.
